what makes a good pup?

I often hear people ask this question. I don't know what makes a good pup . However, I do know what makes a amazing pup. The attraction of having a great pup is the absolute free spirit and playfulness , the confidence on a pups face when its play time is priceless. A great pup is confident free and loving. just my thoughts.
